Seit knapp einer Woche wird nunmehr ein neuer "Conversion-Wert" im AdWords-Konto angezeigt: die View-through Conversion. Das Szenario: Einem User wurde eine Display-Anzeige einblendet, auf die er jedoch nicht klickte. Tätigt er in weiterer Folge trotzdem eine Conversion auf der werbenden Site, so wird diese als View-through Conversion ausgewiesen.
Die Conversion direkt der ungeklickten Display-Anzeige, also nur dem Sichtkontakt zuzuordnen, ist natürlich sehr optimistisch. Trotzdem hilft der Wert, die Sites besser zu identifizieren, auf denen sich verstärkt potentielle Kunden aufhalten.
Im Konto wird die View-through Conversion wie folgt angezeigt. Den Wert gibt es für alle Elemente - Kampagnen, Anzeigengruppen, Anzeigen, Keywords und Placements. Gegebenfalls muss die Spalte über "Filter und Ansichten" eingeblendet werden:
Geklickte Display-Anzeigen, die eine Conversion nach sich ziehen, werden natürlich weiterhin als "echte" Conversions ausgewiesen. In beiden Fällen gilt die Cookie-Laufzeit von 30 Tagen.
